Product Quality Supervisor Foundation

Main Purpose
• Responsible for QM-SAP seed movement and product Quality related tasks delivering Product that meets regulatory, business and customer/growers needs striving to deliver on the overall mission and outcomes
• Drives relevant and approved inspection plans and ensure 100% compliance and release of product ensuring zero Quality incidents and promoting Right the First-Time concept
• Collaborates with plant Mission and Quality Testing team to Ensure all activities related to seed Processing are compliant and advises the RC Mission team on Quality improvement including sampling, sample management, SAP and final product physical inspection and documentation

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
• Responsible for SAP Seed Quality movement and release of batches in line with product specifications and comply with legal and internal Quality standard and co-creating for and with customers
• Ensures final Product is Physically inspected for completeness before release and documentation thereof
• Collaborates with Field and Plant Squad teams and ensures all non-conforming products are segregated from field to plant and warehouse & reduce seed mix/contamination
• Plans with Master data and ERP lead and ensure all new materials + existing are planned on time in SAP and maintained for efficiency during inspection and QM process
• Collaborates with Plant Mission Team and Quality Testing and ensure seed sampling and sample management : timely sample submission, SAP data entry, management and review for completeness and validity, as necessary while ensuring final product Quality inspection is completed…
• Collaborates with ONE management and process owners and ensure all CAPAs related to Product Quality are logged and route cause analysis done to mitigate re-occurrence including non-conforming outputs
• Participates in customer complaints and ensure timely investigations and resolution
• Ensures seeds operations adhere to testing strategy and inspection plan liaising with the lab, Plant and Commercial Quality release team and ensure cohesiveness within the Mission and Quality squad
• Supports in conducting pre-processing defect tests on all Foundation seeds staged for processing to ensure defective batches are not treated and bagged to reduce DNO and losses
• Collaborates with production and performs ad hoc in-processing checks (defects testing, weights, stitching, labelling) to ensure defective seed/bags are reworked
• Advises product out of spec for rework/DNO and support in designing and implementing remedial actions.
• Participates in one PSS- (One production system) and represent Quality – Tier 2 and represent Quality Squad
• Promotes continuous improvement mindset, prioritize business continuity and management of change
• Prepares periodic and ad hoc Product Quality reports and sharing within the squad and Mission for visibility
• Grow out planning, management and reporting to the relevant stakeholders
Qualifications & Competencies
• Bachelors’ degree in Agriculture, Agronomy or related field with 5+ years
• knowledge on Seed production and management
• Communication, Report writing and analytics
• Able to collaborate across the functions
• Quality Management and ISO 9001:2015 knowledge
• SAP/ERP management added advantage
