JOB DETAILS:
Join a leading Engineering and construction Division- Lifts department, weâre expanding and seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our department. Lead all aspects of the Lifts department, driving growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
⢠Manage installation, maintenance, and repair of lifts and escalators.
⢠Supervise and coordinate lift technicians.
⢠Conduct routine inspections and safety checks.
⢠Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
⢠Implement preventive maintenance programs.
⢠Respond to emergency service calls and ensure timely repairs.
⢠Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
⢠Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
⢠Provide training and support to technicians.
⢠Collaborate with clients and ensure excellent customer service.
⢠Manage budget, inventory, and procurement.
⢠Prepare and manage tenders for projects and contracts.
Qualifications:
⢠Extensive experience with lifts, with managerial experience; Diploma or Degree in relevant field is added advantage.
⢠Strong knowledge of lift systems.
⢠Proficiency in diagnostic tools and reading technical manuals.
⢠Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
⢠Valid driverâs license.
⢠Preparing and managing tenders added advantage.
